Like the song “Jesus Loves Me” claims, will the “Bible tell me so…?” Will it teach me what is right? Will it show me what is wrong? Will it help me when I have made mistakes? Will it remain a constant source of training in my life as I encounter difficulties? The answer to all of that is YES. The Bible, God’s Word, has the power and authority to do all of that. Scripture’s ultimate origin is with God Himself. So…we can trust it, rely on it, and base our lives upon it. He did not leave us to figure everything out on our own. May we find nothing more enjoyable than tasting, receiving, accepting, and making God’s Word an undeniable force in our life.
